MarsHydro 300W is a suitable full spectrum LED grow light for the cultivation of indoor hydroponics as well as plants in the soil such as lettuce, pepper, tomatoes, potatoes, etc.

RELEADRO 2nd GEN SERIES 300W LED Grow Light is a product of research and effective design.

MEIZHI is another popular brand with products, which are high in demand. MEIZHI 300W is a high performing LED grow light, which uses an advanced epoxy molding compound LED chip technology. The dimensions of the LED grow light are 12.6 x 7.9 x 3 inches while the weight of the panel is 5 pounds.

 

Construction & Design

It has a well-researched design, which is ETL certified and it is considered to be an eco-friendly product. It has a reflector design, which focuses the light density towards the growing area in order to provide a high yield to the users. 

At the back side of the panel, there is a fan for cooling the system as well as expelling the heat radiations through the heat sinks present on the sides of the panel. 

 

Efficiency

The MEIZHI 300W LED Grow light is high energy efficiency as compared to the HPS or HID lights. The power output of Meizhi 300W lights with an actual power draw of 130 watts is as much as the output by an HPS or HID light with 300 watts. 

The HPS replacement factor is greater as compared to some of the other competitors in our list. Highly efficient LEDs are also used in the system converting most of the electrical input into a light spectrum. The LEDs are oriented at an angle of 120 degrees allowing for greater coverage area. 

 

Spectrum Quality

It has a dual switch function, which allows optimization of the light spectrum during veg and flowering stage of the cultivation. MEIZHI 300W has a light spectrum in the range of 400nm – 700nm. 

This is an idea spectrum for plants as they grow better when exposed to a proportionate amount of blue and red lights. The wavelengths available are usually in the range of 400nm – 760 nm.

It is a cheap and high performing device most suitable for indoor cultivation of hydroponics and soil plants. Bloomspect is a popular brand for producing LED Grow lights and its products have a decent demand in the market. The dimensions of the LED grow light are 11.8 X 8.3 X 2.4 inches while the weight of the panel is 5 pounds.  

Construction & Design

The material of the panel is lightweight and high-quality EPILED LEDs have been used in the panel. The panel has a well-designed cooling system aided by the presence of fan and heat sinks. The dissipated heat quickly gets removed out of the system allowing smooth and ambient temperature function.  

Efficiency

The panel is energy efficient as compared to the HPS lights. An actual power draw of 130 watts by Bloomspect 300 watts produces as much light output as produced by an HPS or HID light of 250 watts power draw ratings. Highly efficient EPILED manufactured LEDs are used which have a power factor of >95%.  

Spectrum Quality

Bloomspect 300 watts LED Grow Light is a high grade grow light for small area cultivation. High-quality yield can be produced owing to the availability of PAR-zone, sufficient PPFD values, and the daisy chain mechanism. 

It is energy efficient as compared to the HPS lights and the cooling system keeps the system performing smoothly. 

We recommend the panels for small area growers while the medium area growers can use it but the yield may not be as good. On the basis of our reviewing criteria, we rate the Bloomspect 300 watts LED Grow Light 4.1/5.

Conclusion

The LED Grow Lights reviewed above are all high performing lights with their distinct features and specifications. However, the two highest rated grow lights as per our review criteria are Advanced Platinum Series P300 300w and Maxsisun Dimmable 300W. 

Advanced Platinum Series P300 300w is a champion device due to its superior properties and features. It has the highest HPS replacement factor among all the lights, provides higher PPFD values and coverage area and has a cooling system, which performs at a high level. 

The Maxsisun Dimmable 300W is also an energy effecient light with PPFD values and coverage area suitable for small to medium area growers. Its dimmable feature allows the optimization of light spectrum during different stages of plants’ growth cycle. The long lifespan and the provision of support warranty by the manufacturers make these two grow lights standout among the competitors
